    Welcome to Home with Heather! I'm so happy you are here.

 I'm a wife, homemaker, author, and mom to five, including four grown children and a toddler who keeps me on my toes. I am also blessed with five wonderful grandchildren who bring so much joy to my life.

This will be a place where I share the beauty of everyday life, creating a cozy home, simple homemaking tips, family memories, recipes, decorating ideas, and the little moments that make a house a home.

Life has taken me through many seasons, from raising my older children to starting over again with a toddler in my forties. Through it all, I have learned that home is more than just four walls. It’s where love grows, memories are made, and grace is found in everyday life.

I also have a passion for writing children’s books and am the author of Sophia and the Secret Garden, inspired by the magic and wonder of childhood.
